Windsurfers - welcome to the Windsurfing Craic site!

This site is for anyone interested in windsurfing in Northern Ireland. It contains articles from the e-newsletter along with photographs and other stuff. It is designed to be fun - we never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

The stories are about the real stars, the windsurfers who go out for glory and humiliation in all weathers to enjoy the greatest sport on earth - windsurfing. Many of the stories and people are from Newtownards Sailing Club which is arguably the best learning and windsurfing development centre in NI. However increasingly stories and people are coming in from all over.

There are other sites, you'll find links to them on this site, which provide information about events, races, kit etc. What makes this site different is that it concentrates on the people, the characters who make it such a fun sport.
